This book is about the the childhood or should I say boyhood of Roald Dahl. Some might say it is an autobiography but this is no ordinary autobiography as Dahl says himself that 'An autobiography is a book a person writes about his/her own life and its usually full of all sorts of boring details. This is not a autobiography' about his book. From this you can see that this book contains all sorts of fascinating stories from Rolad Dahl's extraordinary life. There are a variety of stories in Boy including funny ones like The Great Mouse Plot and Mr Coombes; disgusting ones like A visit to the doctor and A drive in the motor-car; sad ones like First day and happy ones like The magic island. I this book you can discover the adventures Rolad Dahl went through when he was young and 'boy' are they marvelous, if you read this book I'm sure you would wonder like me, is this all true? What a great life Dahl has had, sadly he's not with us today, but his life will be remembered from all his books, especially this one! This book is five star.

The Girls Book How To Be The Best At Everything
At last, here is a beautifully presented book that no girl should be without; a book that guarantees hours of fun; a book that will encourage girls to turn off the TV and go and do something more interesting instead.
In brief, here is a book that shows readers exactly how to be simply the best at everything! Who could resist? You can find out how to: keep a message secret , strum a guitar, do a french plait, make your own compass and lot lot more, its in detail and step by step. But some of these things you wont really come across like how to cope if zombies attack and how to survive an alien attack, but I think some of these are just for humor.
I will recommend this book for girls both young and old. I give this book a 8 out of 10 as it has things you wont really come acrss and some of these things I wont really do my self, but apart from that it is a good entertaining book.

The Girls' Book of Glamour : A Guide to Being a Goddess
The Girls' Book of Glamour : A Guide to Being a Goddess by Sally Jeffrie is a short, cute read all about hoe to be the best prettiest, most confident girl you can. The book is written in sections, with titles such as How to Apply Eye-Shadow, How to Deal with Zits, and even How to Get the Shiniest Hair Ever.
The Girls' Book of Glamour is great for good ideas. All of these things are perfect for girls of different ages, but there are a few things that aren't something you would actually want to try and do, such as tips on How to be a Hand Model.
Overall, this was a really cute book, and features some things that young girls, teens, and adults might wish to accomplish with some help.
